The Goldfish Generation

Published on Tuesday, 26 July 2016 by Louise Hefer in Marketing

For some of you this might be new news and others might have heard this before and forgotten it already, but its official – our attention span is now shorter than that of a goldfish. Whereas a goldfish has an attention span of 9 seconds, the human race now averages at 8 seconds. This is all due to the mobile revolution and multi-screening becoming more…oh look, a butterfly!

So let’s take this learning and apply it here. This blog won’t be structured around text heavy paragraphs but rather optimised to demonstrate that there are still ways to attract and retain a consumer’s attention, for longer than 8 seconds…hopefully.
