Richard Lord, The MediaShop`s Associate MD
Commencing his media career as a trainee planner at Lindsay Smithers in 1996, Richard was promoted to full planner by the end of that year. He remained with Smithers until 1999 before joining The Agency as senior media strategist, subsequently accepting a position at The MediaShop. In 2001, Richard moved to the United Kingdom to broaden his experience.
He spent two years working in the UK ad industry, first as a strategist an Universal McCann and then as a media consultant with the Radio Advertising Bureau, assisting agencies with their radio planning. Three years after returning to South Africa and The MediaShop in 2003, he was promoted to group head of the ABSA account as Associate Media Director. |
