Media ShopTalk: June 2010
Soccer World Cup 2010 Update
Since the 11th of June, very little other than Soccer has been the centre of all conversations. It has also been the centre of all TV viewing. Between Arianna and Telmar, we have received the viewership of all matches up to and including the 29th of June. Here are some highlights and interesting information that we have come across. The opening ceremony at Soccer City on the 1th of June achieved a reach of over 6 million viewers. Whilst the crowd at Soccer City was 84 000 people, those soccer fans that viewed the opening ceremony and the first match at the fan parks accounted for 260 000 people.
