The Idea

Integrating the stars of South Africa’s best soapies into being the stars of the Debonairs campaign.

What we did

We produced 9 ads featuring the stars of South Africa’s major soapies and flighted the ads during the same show in which they were featured in.

Nompilo Maphumulo (Nosipho) and Thuthuka Mthembu (Nonkanyiso)

This was done across Scandal, Imbewu and Uzalo.

Adbreak 1:

The stars are hungry for some food

Adbreak 2:

They download the app and order pizza

Adbreak 3:

Pizza arrives and they enjoy it!

The cost to client?

  • R1,5m in total production cost.

  • 9 ads shot in one day.

  • No creative agency involvement.
